Her very own patch

Madison Morel, 4, found making a pick of pumpkins tough Sunday at the pumpkin patch in front of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on West Shore Road. More than 700 larger pumpkins and untold numbers of the size Madison was interested in were delivered to the church Saturday as part of a fundraiser. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to help Crossroads of Rhode Island. This is the first year the church has conducted the fundraiser said Madison’s grandmother, Jeanne Soares. The pumpkins were grown in New Mexico.
