Johnston Little League players will be able to participate in a free instructional baseball clinic with Pawtucket Red Sox players and coaches on Saturday, July 8, at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. Participation is free courtesy of Chris Hurd and Hurd Chevrolet.

Registration for the clinic begins promptly at noon on Tuesday, May 30, exclusively on the Chevrolet baseball website, www.Chevroletbaseball.com. Parents will then be able to register both boys and girls ages 6 to 12 starting on May 30. Once on the site, parents may click on the “Clinics” tab at the top of the page to access registration.

This offer is exclusively for Johnston Little Leaguers and there is limited space for the session. Registration is on a “first come, first served” basis. The clinic will take place at McCoy Stadium, 1 Columbus Ave. in Pawtucket, and will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until 1 p.m.

Chris Hurd believes this will be a great experience, “This is a wonderful opportunity for Johnston kids to get professional tips and instruction in a fun and casual atmosphere. I would encourage parents to register sooner rather than later to ensure they secure a spot.”
