Ice cream social to benefit Make-A-Wish

Cold Stone Creamery in Cranston will host its 11th Annual World’s Largest Ice Cream Social today to help raise money for wishes in our local communities. Throughout the month of September – and on September 27th – Cold Stone Creamery stores across Rhode Island and Massachusetts are donating $1 from the sale of Make-A-Wish stars and today will donate an additional $1 from the sale of any “Love It” or “Gotta Have It” (medium or large) size ice cream, yogurt or sorbet to Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

From 4:30-5:15 p.m., Cranston Mayor Allan Fung will join the Stone Cold Creamery associates as a special guest “scooper,” along with local Wish children and Make-A-Wish volunteers who will be there to answer questions about the Foundation and the impact of a wish first-hand.

Cold Stone Creamery has supported Make-A-Wish America since 2002 to help Make-A-Wish chapters across the country grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
