Innocent until proven guilty
To the Editor:
In response to Mr. Richard Corrente’s letter to the editor of July 11, 2013 about City Councilman C.J. Donovan, first of all a man is innocent until proven guilty and a resignation would imply guilt.
We were not there to see or hear what happened, so let’s see what the courts do. I am truly confident that our judicial system will work, and if the councilman is innocent or guilty, the proper decision will be rendered and justice will be served or appealed.
