Integlia chairs Kent Center’s 3rd annual ’Swing into Spring’
Michael Integlia Jr., president of Michael Integlia & Company, a premier builder and developer of office, commercial and institutional space in Southern New England, will chair this year’s Swing into Spring Celebration to benefit The Kent Center, a non-profit charitable organization serving adults and children with mental illness, substance abuse disorders and psychological trauma.
The Kent Center’s 3rd Annual Swing into Spring Celebration is a gala reception and concert featuring the Beantown Swing Orchestra, a 17-piece orchestra lead by two fabulous vocalists, and their high energy, fun-loving troupe of swing dancers. The event will be held on May 17 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s Garden Pavilion.
“The Kent Center is very fortunate to have Michael Integlia as the chairman of our event this year,” Kent Center CEO David Lauterbach said in a statement. “His leadership will be instrumental in helping us to achieve our goals.”
Integlia is a long-standing supporter of The Kent Center who served as a member of the Swing into Spring event planning committee for the past two years, as well as a member of the Center’s Capital Campaign committee. In 2008, Integlia was honored by The Kent Center as a Partner in Philanthropy and recognized at the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ National Philanthropy Day.
A Cranston resident, Integlia’s volunteer and philanthropic efforts have also supported the New England Institute of Technology; Rhode Island College, where he served as co-chair of their Capital Campaign and president of the Rhode Island College Foundation; and Roger Williams University, where he is a member of their Board of Overseers and an alumnus from the school of architecture and engineering.
“Swing into Spring is such a wonderful and unique event and I am very excited to be part of it,” said Integlia. “I am looking forward to working with The Kent Center and the other members of the committee to ensure that the event is a great success.”
