Friday’s Providence Journal printed a list of the star rating of every school in Rhode Island. The scale was 1 to 5 stars, with 5 stars being the highest rating.
Warwick’s rating was abysmal. We have 17 schools; 12 were ranked at 3 out of 5 stars; 5 were ranked at 2 out of 5 stars. The five schools with two stars are both high schools and both middle schools as well as Oakland Beach Elementary. That leads me to conclude that Warwick gives an “average” educational setting to grammar schoolers and then rewards (?) them with a below average education from middle school on.
Also within the past few years we reallocated three high schools and three middle schools into the current arrangement of 2 and 2. Was it just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic? Or is there a plan in place to improve Warwick schools?

you forgot that warwick gets five stars on the amount of money spent and the levels of administrators.

The Warwick School 2019 budget is $165,900,429.- divided by student population PK-12 of 9,124= $18,182.86 per student and the test result are pathetic! Better that each parent/student be given a voucher for 15K or whatever and they choose the school of their choice or don't go at all. Where is the so-called freedom in the system that we are being buried in?
