Jacqueline (Belhumeur) Platt, 80, of Warwick, passed away peacefully January 5, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late George A. Platt Jr.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Thomas and Florianne (Bourret) Belhumeur, she had been a Warwick resident since 1956.
She leaves three sons, George A. Platt III of Reston, Va., Thomas M. Platt of Warwick and Michael P. Platt of Coventry; two daughters, Deborah A. Shockey of Shrewsbury, Pa. and Denise R. Commo of Warwick; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Tina DiCarlo of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Beatrice Franklin, Theresa Boisvert, Alice Nichols and Roger Belhumeur.
Her funeral was held Jan. 9 from Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave., Warwick.
