The Jan Companies is conducting a job fair at their Cranston headquarters on April 17. "This company was built from the ground up. The size and strength of The Jan Companies has a lot to do with our employees. This is why we are looking for 300 outstanding individuals to join our constantly expanding team," said Bill Janikies, The Jan Companies chief operating officer.

The Jan Companies are looking to hire 300 individuals for new positions, with an open house Tuesday, April 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 35 Sockanosset Crossroads. The event is open to Burger King, Newport Creamery and Country Club candidates.

The Jan Companies is one of the largest private businesses in the State of Rhode Island, employing over 1,700 people in the state with an additional 2,300 in seven other states.

"It all started over 40 years ago with a dream of my father's. Today we have a business that provides opportunities, employment and training for more than 4,000 individuals," Janikies said.

The Jan Companies offers excellent benefit packages and comparable salary, based upon experience. Interested candidates that cannot make the open house can feel free to contact the company Director of Human Resources Monika Poulin at mpoulin@jancompanies.com

"We are always looking forward to the future and building our team," states Bill Janikies.
