Jason Pisano


Jason Pisano, 40 of West Warwick passed away at Kent Hospital on April 30, 2012, surrounded by his devoted family and friends.

Born in Providence he was the son of Michele Burdick and her husband Raymond, and Peter Pisano and his wife Pamela. Jason graduated from West Warwick High School and The University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree. Jason was an accomplished athlete who has completed 52 marathons and won numerous gold, silver and bronze medals in track and field at the United Cerebral Palsy World Games. He was an Olympic torch bearer for the 1996 summer Olympics. Jason is also a published author.

Besides his parents he is survived by a sister Amanda Pisano; a nephew Reyvis Mario Soto; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family of Jason would like to thank the staff in the ICU at Kent Hospital and special thanks to his devoted friends.

Calling hours for friends and family will be held Friday, 4-8 p.m. in the A.A. Maraini and Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence. Funeral service and burial will be private.
