Ocean State Job Lot continues to utilize its global supply chain to source critically-needed supplies for those on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19.
Last week, the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation delivered surgical masks across New England, including 25,000 to Brigham & Women Hospital in Boston; 8,000 to Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket; and 4,000 to the State Police in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
In late March, Ocean State Job Lot contributed $250,000 to a fund dedicated to acquiring critical supplies needed in the fight against COVID-19 by leveraging its global supply chain to quickly and affordably source items such as gloves, masks, disinfectants, sanitizers, eye protection, and more from its vendors.
Additionally, customers are invited to visit the newly-created displays in each of the retailers 140 store locations to pick up free, high-quality cotton-polyester blended fabric, in the form of cloth napkins and tablecloths, to craft their own cloth face masks as part of the retailer's 'Mask Fabric For Free' campaign.
