Joseph Spaziano Sr., 81, a retired salesman for Sears passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Rosetta (Ragosta) Spaziano for 59 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Antonetta (Demelio) Spaziano. Joseph was the owner of J & J Arms and served as a Special on the Johnston Police Department. He was a musician, playing the drums for many years.

Joseph was the loving father of Joseph Spaziano Jr., and his wife Ann and Lisa Callahan and her husband Brian; loving grandfather of Melissa, Heather, Joseph, Jonathan and Brianna; loving great-grandfather of Carlos, Alinah, Raul and Nikolai. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Leo Spaziano, Marie Esposito, Frances Piccirillo and Ann Vetter.

His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends may sign the guestbook and view Josephs service online (theQuinnFuneralHome.Com).

A memorial Mass will be held in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane at a time to be announced.
