A time of abundance

Just in time for Thanksgiving

More than $2,000 in non-perishable food, paper goods, cleaning supplies and gift certificates for turkeys were collected at Wave Warwick offices for delivery to the Rhode Island Family Shelter just in time for Thanksgiving. Located in Conimicut, the shelter is a 24-hour, 7-day a week facility for homeless families. It is the only temporary emergency family shelter of its kind in the Kent County area. Approximately 300 individuals per year receive shelter and over half are children.
