J&W, CCRI have new articulation agreement
Johnson & Wales University (JWU) has signed an articulation agreement that will allow Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) students graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming to enter the software engineering bachelor degree program at JWU.
“Both schools recognize that for many students the path to a bachelor’s degree may begin at a community college,” said JWU Providence Campus President Mim Runey, LP.D. “This agreement is formed to enable the smooth transfer of qualified associate degree graduates from CCRI to JWU.”
“The Community College of Rhode Island is excited to sign an articulation agreement with a nationally recognized university like Johnson & Wales,” CCRI President Ray DiPasquale said in a statement. “In partnering with their School of Technology, our students will enjoy interesting new opportunities and new career pathways.”
In addition to the computer programming degree, CCRI grads will also be eligible to apply their computer and network technology associate degree towards a bachelor’s degree in network engineering.
