Spaulding Outpatient Center at Kent Hospital will open a Providence location Tuesday, October 1 at 100 Butler Drive, Providence. The new facility is located in the same building, which formerly housed University Orthopedics.
Patients will be able to receive treatment for a wide variety of conditions including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and sports injuries among others.
A team of rehabilitation and clinical experts at the new location will continue to provide the same rehabilitative care patients have come to rely on at Spaulding Outpatient Center locations in Pawtucket and East Greenwich.
The new location will be staffed with experienced physical and occupational therapists who specialize in sports medicine and orthopedics including: Sports medicine; competitive and recreational injuries; orthopedic injuries; foot and ankle rehabilitation, surgical and non-surgical; musculoskeletal rehabilitation of the spine; joint replacement prehab and rehabilitation; hand and wrist rehabilitation, splinting; Geriatric orthopedics ; coordinated concussion management; shoulder and elbow rehabilitation for adolescent and adult; manual therapy and arthritis of the shoulder, spine, knee, foot and ankle.
