Leonard E. Puckett


Leonard E. Puckett, 60, a theatrical rigger, vice president of Ocean State Rigging Systems, Inc. and a member of IATSE Local 23, passed away, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. He was the beloved husband of Denise Deborah (Warner) Puckett.

He was the devoted son of Roseline (Poulin) Caine and Alan L. Caine. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring his Jeep. As a theatrical rigger, he worked with several bands including Willie Nelson and the Highwaymen, David Bowie, Rick James, Led Zepplin and the Allman Brothers. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was the father of Justin A. Puckett (Amy) and David L. Puckett (Sarah); brother of Gary Puckett, Jeannie Caine, Sharon Webb, Cindy Caine and the late Raymond Caine; grandfather of Collin, Mackenzie, Grace and Raymond

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, June 15, 1-5 p.m. followed by a service at 5 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave.
