Let's Buy Local goes mobbing again
“Cash Mobbing” is a new trend that is sweeping the nation and Let’s Buy Local, a grassroots, community-building initiative started in November by local business owners Dr. Timothy Hudyncia and Lea Knepley, is holding the state’s third cash mob tonight at 6.
Participants will gather at the parking lot at 1250 Warwick Ave. and collectively go to a small, independently owned business that will be announced on the spot and spend $20 each, all at the same time. According to Hudyncia, each person spending $20 could mean the difference in meeting payroll for the business that week.
“Little things can have big outcomes,” he said.
