Sofia Donabedian, 6, displays her finished product with grandmother Marie at the Knightsville Library’s Drop-in Craft: Make a Penguin event on Tuesday morning. The Cranston Public Library system has a slew of events coming up for school vacation week. On Thursday from 2-3 p.m., the William Hall branch will host “Color Coded Robots,” a workshop to “encourage hands-on learning and simple coding with robots,” according to the release. Friday features two different events. At the Oak Lawn branch, kids from ages 4 and up can attend a Jiu Jitsu workshop from 2-3 p.m. From 2-3:30 p.m., at the Auburn Library, anyone grades K-5 can participate in “upcycling” as they make origami and other paper art out of recycled materials.
