Lionel J. “Pete” St. Sauveur


Lionel J. “Pete” St. Sauveur, 81, of Warwick, passed away on June 3, 2012. He was the husband of Lucille O. (Robitaille) St. Sauveur. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on May 28, 2012.

Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Ludger and Leda (Bettez) St. Sauveur. Lionel was a produce manager at the former First National Market and later, Roch’s Market before retiring in 1994. He was accomplished in Duckpin bowling.

He was the father of Judy (Steven) Joel of Buffalo Grove, Illinois., Phil (Becky) St. Sauveur of North Kingstown and Michelle St. Sauveur of Coventry; grandfather of Jeffrey, Stacey, Shelby, Max and Rachel; brother of Sister Lillian St. Sauveur, P.M. of Hudson, N.H. and the late Ronald and Paul St. Sauveur.

His funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the R. A. Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02886. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Wednesday 5 - 8 p.m.
