Literacy Volunteers set tutor training session Sept. 18
Literacy Volunteers of Kent County are looking for people who want to make a difference in someone’s life by giving the gift of literacy. By giving just a few hours per week, volunteers can help develop a stronger community while helping your neighbors improve their skills.
Literacy Volunteers of Kent County has adult students excited to learn English as a Second Language or Basic Literacy who are awaiting a tutor. The next tutor training session begins on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Volunteers should be more than 18 years old and a Kent County resident.
