Louise M. (Taglienti) Terreri, age 87, of Silver Lake Avenue, Warwick, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Arnold Terreri.

Born in Livermore Falls, Maine, a daughter of the late John and Italia (Lucarelli) Taglienti, she lived in Warwick for 61 years. She earned her degree at Maine College of Commerce. Mrs. Terreri was employed as a teacher’s assistant in the Warwick Public Schools for 28 years, retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Friends of Friars Hockey at Providence College, and had been involved with West Side Little League and the Warwick Junior Hockey Association. She was a former member of the board of directors of Pawtuxet Memorial Park.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane M. Mercier and her husband Leonard, of Amesbury, MA, and Nadine L. Priest and her husband Joseph, of Warwick; two sons, Peter A. Terreri and his wife Tessa, of Warwick, and Christopher A. Terreri and his wife Jennifer, of Hillsborough, NJ; a brother, John Taglienti, Jr. of Jay, ME; a sister, Anita Alvino of Livermore Falls, ME; and eight grandchildren: Justin Mercier, Trevor Mercier, Chelsea Priest, Cameron Priest, Casey Terreri, Taylor Terreri, Celia Terreri, and Jillian Terreri.

Her funeral was held on Monday, May 22, from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Burial was in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
