Lynne R. (Hanley) Wentworth


Lynne R. (Hanley) Wentworth, 66, of Warwick passed away March 27, 2013 in St. Luke Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Frank N. Wentworth.

Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. Hanley (PPD Ret.) and Doris M. (Kelly) Hanley. Mrs. Wentworth was a communicant of St. Clement Church, a founding member of Washington Park Community Assn., and a member of the Broad Street School P.T.A. As a member of the ALMA Society (Adoptees Liberation Movement Association) she was responsible for re-uniting adoptive children with their birthparents.

She was the loving mother of Bethanie L. Keller and her husband, Matthew of Warwick, Susan R. Carreiro and her husband, Steven of Warwick, Timothy F. Wentworth and his wife, Lisa of Cranston and Veronica A. Viveiros of Cranston. Cherished grandmother of ten.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, RI Chapter, 205 Hallene Road #209, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
