Marie H. (Adams) Luisi, age 92, formerly of Dixie Avenue, Warwick, died on Monday, May 29, 2017, at Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Frank Luisi.

Born in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Julius M. and M. Antoinette “Nettie” (Hesser) Adams, she lived in Warwick until moving to North Kingstown four years ago. Mrs. Luisi was a long-time parishioner of St. Timothy Church in Warwick, and a former member of the St. Timothy Church Choir. She had been an active volunteer at the former St. Timothy School. She was a former member of the Asbury Coasters.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne M. Draper and her husband Dan of Pasadena, TX; two sons, Frank T. Luisi and his wife Jean of North Kingstown, and Michael J. Luisi of Cranston; four granddaughters: Jennifer Brackman, Kelly Daniels, Allison Luisi, and Andrea Luisi; and a great-granddaughter, Kadence Brackman. She was the sister of the late Irene Robertson, Louis Adams, Johnnie Adams, William Adams, and Marion Adams.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Scalabrini Villa for their kindness in caring for Marie.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 5, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. www.barrettandcotter.com
