Marion (Beliveau) Hickey-Boatwright

Marion (Beliveau) Hickey-Boatwright, 87 died peacefully on June 25, 2012 in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family.

She met her first husband, James Hickey at Hillsgrove Roller Rink and declared “That’s the man I’ll marry!” During World War II, Marion made bullets and supervised the other workers.

She was the mother of James, Carolann, Paul, Barbara, Lillian, Jeanmarie, Gail and Sherry. She is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She followed three of her daughters to Arizone but always returned to Rhode Island for the summers. She stayed with family, especially her laye twin sister, Evelyn. She loved Bingo & Canasta. She enjoyed good health, her motto was “There is nothing the doctors can do that I can’t do myself.”

At the end she said “It is time.” and laid down to sleep.

I’m sure she went straight to Heaven. Love, Jim & Happy
