Kent Washington Association of Realtors President Mark McHugh of Clearmark Real Estate LLC in Warwick has been named the association's 2019 REALTOR of the Year.

As a member of the Kent Washington Association member since 2006, Mark has provided distinguished leadership service to the Association as an active volunteer through several KWAOR community outreach, the KWAOR Strategic Planning committee, Grievance and Government Affairs.

This year Mark has served as board president and been a strong advocate for organizational growth and professional development. Mark's service to his profession extends to the state and national level, having served three years as a director for the RI Association of Realtors.

Mark is deeply involved in the community. He is a past president of the Warwick Neck Improvement Association and has provided leadership for many community organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Warwick, Warwick Neck Elementary PTA, and Save The Bay. An appointed member of the Warwick Board of Assessment Review since 2009, he has served as that Board's chairperson for the past three years. The Warwick Rotary Club has counted him as a member since 2009 and recognized him as Rotarian of the Year in 2010.

Initially announced at the KWAOR General Membership Meeting on August 28, this honor will be formally celebrated at the Association's Annual Meeting and Installation of Officers on October 10 at Harbor Lights.
