Greenwood Community Church, 805 Main Ave., Warwick, will be serving their annual May breakfast May 6 from 7:30-11:30 a.m. The menu includes scrambled eggs, ham, pancakes, baked beans, assorted juices, cold cereals, home-baked coffee cakes, muffins, breads, apple pie, coffee, tea and milk. Also available for purchase will be table centerpieces, children’s baskets and their famous May Baskets filled with homemade fudge, cookies and plants. No reservations are required, and the hall is handicapped accessible. Adults are $8, children under 12 $3, children under 5 are free. Enjoy a long Rhode Island tradition and the fellowship that this tradition offers.

Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Road, will host their 42nd annual May Breakfast May 6 from 7-11 a.m. They will have fruit salad, baked beans, scrambled eggs, muffins, pancakes, cereal, sausage, ham, home fries, coffee, tea, milk and juice. Adults $8, children 5-12 $4, under 5 free.

First Baptist Church, Corner of Peirce & Montrose Street East Greenwich, will host its 47th Annual May Breakfast May 6 from 6:30-10 a.m. Enjoy scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, home fries, baked beans, jonnycakes, homemade muffins, yummy pies and coffee. Adults $8, children $4, under 5 free. Homemade May baskets filled with fudge or flowers will be available to purchase. For more information or to purchase tickets contact the church at 884-2322.

Defenders of Animals will hold a May Breakfast May 7 at 10 a.m. at the Governor Sprague Mansion on Cranston St. Tickets are $25 per person and the event is reservations only by calling 461-1922. 

Kelley-Gazzerro VFW Post 2812 will hold their May Breakfast May 7 at 1418 Plainfield St., Cranston. The breakfast will take place from 9:30-11 a.m. and will include fruit salad, juice, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, bagels, muffins, toast and coffee. Donation is adults $10 and children under 12 $5. Tickets are on sale at the bar and will be sold at the door.

St. Benedict Church is having their Annual May Breakfast May 6 from 8-11 a.m. to be held in the handicapped accessible Parish Hall at 70 Transit St. Menu features pancakes, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, bakes beans, mini muffins, juice, coffee and tea. $10 per person, children under 10 $5. Call the rectory for tickets at 737-9492.

Edgewood Congregational Church, 1788 Broad Street, Cranston, is having its annual traditional New England May Breakfast May 13 from 7-11 a.m. All you can eat menu items include eggs, sausage, pancakes, johnnycakes, baked beans, potato casserole, home fries, muffins, fresh fruit salad, assorted pies and beverages. Adults $8, children $4.50, under 3 free. Shop for Mother’s Day. They will have items for sale such as plants, spring flowers, gifts, candy, baked goods, books and collectibles. First Congregational Church of Warwick, 715 Oakland Beach Ave., is having a May Breakfast May 13 from 7-11 a.m. This is an all you can eat breakfast. Menu includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, potatoes, toast, beans, fruit cocktail and beverages. Cost for adults is $8.50, children 6-12 is $4.  Children 5 and under eat for free. Tickets are available at the door. Call 738-3377.

Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire, 645 Oakland Beach Ave., Warwick, is having a Mother’s Day/May Breakfast May 14 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, toast, coffee and juice. Cost is $5 per person; moms and kids under 9 eat free. For information and tickets call 737-4786.
