May Breakfasts


Woodridge Congregational Church, 20 Jackson Rd., Cranston, will have its 30th Annual "All You Can Eat" Gourmet, Almost May, May Breakfast on April 28 from 8-11 a.m. The menu will consist of eggs, frittatas, johnnycakes, waffles with fruit and whipped cream, ham, sausage, home made corned beef hash, homefries, homemade baked beans, strudel, muffins, assorted pastries, juice, milk, coffee, decaf and tea. Admission is $8.50 for adults and $5.50 for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling Dan Blackford at 942-0662 Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Rotary Club of Warwick will have a What's On Your Plate? May Breakfast May 5 from 7:30-11 a.m. at the Pilgrim Senior Center, 27 Pilgrim Parkway, Warwick. They will be serving bacon eggs, sausage, homefries, juice, coffee and more. Admission is $7. Proceeds will benefit Rotary charities.

First Baptist Church of East Greenwich will have its 42nd annual May Breakfast May 5 from 6:30-10 a.m. Enjoy scrambled eggs, ham, homefries, jonnycakes, homemade muffins, pies, coffee. Adults $7, children $3, under 5 eat free. Homemade May baskets filled with fudge or flowers available for purchase. For more information or for tickets call 884-2322.

Norwood Baptist Church, 48 Budlong Ave., Warwick, will have their 87th annual May Breakfast May 5 from 7-10 a.m. On the menu: eggs (cooked to order), bacon or ham, homefries, baked beans, cereal, muffins, rolls, pie, juice, coffee, tea or milk. Candy-filled May baskets will be sold along with all occasion gift baskets perfect for Mother's Day. Tickets $8 for adults, $4 for children 5-12, no charge for children under 5. Christ the King Parish will have its May Breakfast May 6 from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church Hall, 124 Legris Ave., Rte. 117, West Warwick. Adults $7, children 6-12 $4, children 5 and under eat free. The menu includes fresh fruit cup, Texas French toast, toast, scrambled eggs, ham, pork sausage, corned beef hash, beans, hash browns, dessert, coffee, tea juice.
