Mildred A. (Allen) Carpenter, 72, of Apollo Street, Warwick, died February 2, 2012 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of Jeremiah M. Carpenter.
Born in Providence, the daughter of the late John N. and Irene M. (Gerold) Allen, she lived in Warwick for 53 years. Mrs. Carpenter was employed as a school bus monitor for the City of Warwick for several years.
Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Linda A. Wyatt of Erial, N.J., Dianne M. Brown and Maureen E. St. Jacques, both of Warwick; a brother, Newton A. Allen of Syracuse, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren, Robert Wyatt Jr., Michael Wyatt, Amy Brown, Erin Shields and her husband, Eric, Kerry St. Jacques, Sean St. Jacques, Megan St. Jacques and John Brown. She was the sister of the late Norman Allen.
A memorial Mass was held Feb. 4 in St. William Church, 200 Pettaconsett Ave., Warwick.
