Mindy Lane elected president of State-Wide MLS

Mindy Lane of Keller Williams Central in Cranston has been elected president of the State-Wide Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the real estate data exchange service. 

Lane has been actively involved in the Realtor organization since 2000. She currently serves on the Greater Providence Board of Realtors Grievance Committee (GPBOR) and the Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) Forms Committee. She also serves as a trainer for the Graduate Realtor Institute, GPBOR and RIAR. A graduate of Ithaca College, she resides with her husband Bruce in Richmond, Rhode Island. 

Other new State-Wide MLS officers include President-elect, Christopher Whitten of Premeer Real Estate in Johnston; Treasurer, Robert Martin of Crossroads Real Estate Group in Woonsocket and Chepachet; and Secretary, Stephen Larson of RE/MAX Professionals in Newport, Rhode Island. 

New and newly appointed directors on the State-Wide MLS board include Pamela Hanson Carbone of BisMarc Properties LLC in Providence, John Biafore of Lighthouse Real Estate Group in Wakefield, Sherri Mercurio of the Mercurio Group Real Estate in Pawtucket, Stephen Kirby of Kirby Commercial LLC in Newport, Paul Lefebvre Jr. of Acumen Group Real Estate in Burrillville, Rita Danielle Steele of Steele Realty Consultants LLC in Providence, and William Sizeland of RE/MAX Professionals in Newport.

New and newly appointed officers and directors began their term in November.

Since its establishment in 1972, State-Wide MLS has become the premier source of property information and business services for the Southern New England real estate industry. More than 5000 REALTORS from Rhode Island and neighboring Connecticut and Massachusetts enhance their services to area buyers, sellers, landlords and renters through the use of tools provided by State-Wide MLS.
