Nancy Alice (Kelly) Ricci, 56, of Coventry, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, Providence.

She was born January 31, 1963 in Providence. Nancy was a long-time resident of Coventry, where she raised her three children. She had a passion for working with children and was a secretary for the Warwick Public School Department for many years. Nancy adored spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow up. She loved spending weekends at East Matunuck Beach during the day and visiting her parents’ beach cottage on hot summer nights. Her Irish humor and bright smile could light up any room and she loved nothing more than wearing her Yankees jersey proudly. During her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, reading and visiting local nursing homes to paint the residents’ nails.

She is survived by her parents, Owen and Mary Ann (Murphy) Kelly. She was the loving mother of her three children, Joshua Ricci, Aubrey Hawkins (Ricci) and her husband, Steven Hawkins, and Michael Ricci and his significant other Meredith Lindenberg. She is also survived by her four siblings, Donna Jean Pollock and her husband, Charles Pollock, Owen Kelly and his wife, Robin Kelly, Timothy Kelly and his wife, Janet Kelly, and David Kelly and his wife, Sheila Kelly. She was the loving grandmother of Shawn Ricci and Christian Ricci and loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 18, at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick.
