Natalie L. Fisette, 87, passed away January 19, 2019. She was the wife of the late Harvey J. Fisette.
Born at the Norden Farm on Strawberry Field Rd. in Warwick, she was one of eight children and a member of a large closely-knit Swedish family comprised of many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a daughter of the late Arthur G. and Mabel I. (Miller) Norden. Prior to the birth of her children, she was employed by Amica Mutual Insurance Company and later Gorham Silver Company. She was a graduate of Lockwood High School Class of 1949. Natalie was an accomplished seamstress, knitter, baker and quilt designer, and she appreciated quality in all things. Many of her family members are fortunate enough to possess one of Natalie’s quilts. She loved lilac bushes, daffodils, playing cards with friends, the Boston Red Sox, and Sweenor’s chocolates.
She is survived by four children: Barbara E. F. Pierce (Craig) of North Kingstown, James H. Fisette, Joan M. Nelson and Harvey J. Fisette, Jr., all of Warwick; grandchildren: James T. Fisette (Nicole) of Portsmouth, Alisha M. Monahan (Abraham) of Duxbury, MA, Celeste E. Pierce of North Kingstown and Connor J. Fisette of Warwick; one great-grandchild; and her sister–in–law, Shirley F. Seguin of Warwick.
