National Public Lands Day At the award-winning JAYCEE Arboretum,@ Riverpoint COMMUNITY Park (110 Hay Street - West Warwick, RI).

The 400 linear foot Esplanade, will be available for fun-filled landscaping such as planting fall flowers, trimming trees, pruning shrubbery, restoring planting beds, painting fences, shoring up trail/embankments, fertilizing, watering, sweeping lane, sign maintenance,trail walking/hiking and wildlife and water fowl observations along the state Senator Donald Roch Riverwalk!

The 1.3 mile rugged and picturesque wilderness trail meanders along the all-important confluence of the north and south branches of the Pawtuxet River Valley, Rhode Island's longest waterway.

The JAYCEE Riverwalk Corridor & Arboretum, traverses the newly-established West Warwick Walkway (Pawtuxet River Walkway Project) and the extensive six(6) mile West Bay Bikepath or Greenway, connecting the municipalities of Cranston, Warwick, West Warwick and Coventry in central Rhode Island.
