U.S. News & World Report has ranked New England Institute of Technology's Online Bachelor of Science Degree programs as eighth nationally out of 226 colleges and universities across the country.

The U.S. News Best Online Programs report is used by students and working adults seeking online education programs to complete their degree or advance their career while maintaining a flexible schedule that suits their work and personal commitments. Rankings are based on factors such as graduation rates, indebtedness of new graduates and academic and career support services and may be viewed at www.usnews.com/education/online-education/bachelors.

U.S. News & World Report states, "The vast majority of students enrolled in these ranked programs have earned at least some college credit. They are more likely to be working professionals in their 20s to 40s looking to advance in or change their careers than be first-time college students. U.S. News & World Report chose factors that weigh how these programs are being delivered and their effectiveness at awarding affordable degrees in a reasonable amount of time."

"New England Tech follows a very innovative process for the development of all online courses that results in engaging and collaborative online learning environments. Knowledgeable faculty collaborating with experienced instructional designers using this innovative process has resulted in this prestigious recognition of which we are very proud," Dr. Douglas H. Sherman, Senior Vice President and Provost at New England Institute of Technology said in a statement.
