Nora T. (Jackson) Legault, 65, of Warwick, the Supervisor of Animal Control for the City of Warwick, who retired in 2006 after 29 years of service; died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Arthur R. Legault.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Melvin L. and Mildred E. (Anderson) Jackson, Sr. Nora lived most of her life in Warwick. She was devoted to her family and her faithful dog, Louise. A graduate of Warwick Veterans High School, Nora became an avid golfer with three hole-in- ones to her credit and enjoyed skiing, bowling, playing cards, traveling and visits to Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Besides her husband, Nora was the devoted mother of: Teri L. Cehelsky (Dennis) of Warwick, Patrick J. Manzi, Jr. (Kimberly) of Warwick, Michelle M. Jacavone (Carlo) of Scituate, Michael A. Legault (Maureen) of AZ, Daniel R. Legault (Nicole) of Warwick and the late Michael Patrick Manzi. Nora was the adoring grandmother of: Melissa, Brittney, Patrick, Nicholas, Olivia, Jackson, Quinn and Grace; and the caring sister of: Mildred “Millie” Ruggieri (Tommy) of Warwick, Mary Ellen Smith (Brian) of Warwick and Melvin L. Jackson, Jr. (Denise) of Lynn, MA.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from the Urquahrt-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick (Exit 12-A off Rt. I-95) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 29, 2017 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
