Norman J. LaPlante, 88, died Monday, November 6, 2017.
He was the son of the late Emile and Margaret (Turner) LaPlante. Mr. LaPlante had been employed for many years in the construction industry and had worked for Allied Concrete Forms. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving with the United States Army.
He was the beloved brother of Madeline Oliveiri, Linda DelSanto, Beverly Davis, and the late Raymond and Emery LaPlante.
His funeral will be held Friday, November 10th at 10 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial with military honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 pm.
