Norman M. Wheeler, 92, died Saturday March 31, 2018, He was s the beloved husband of Mary E. (McMahon) Wheeler.
Born in Providence he was a son of the late Arthur L. and Mary A. (McHugh) Wheeler, he has been a resident of Warwick for most of his life, Mr. Wheeler was employed as a machinist for 40 years and worked at Jade Manufacturing in Warwick. A World War II Army Air Corp. Veteran he served as a gunner with the 92nd Bomb Group 326. He was a member of the 92nd Bomb Group Association and the Gunner Association.
He was the father of Loretta M. Wilner and step-father of Neal Rainey and the late John A. Rainey. He also leaves three grandchildren. He was the brother of Harold Wheeler, the late Everett Wheeler, Arthur Wheeler and Alice Amos.
