Notch, notch, notch
To the Editor:
First of all, do you know what is referred to as a “notch baby?”
If you were born between 1917 and 1926, you are on of them. In those years, all Social Security pensions were reduced for one reason or another. The government has been talking for years about reimbursing us with this money that is due us.
For years this bill has been in committee and ignored. The youngest notch baby right now is 85 years of age and the oldest ones are dying off. I am sure that our government keeps track of the nation’s obituaries and knows the number of us that are still living.
If they wait a few more years, there will be no need to pass this bill because we will all be dead. All that money can then be used to help some foreign nation, as is the policy of this country.
All I can say is to raise our voices, or else we are doomed.
