The Ocean State Council of Independent Living (OSCIL) recently awarded five $1,296 scholarships to college students with disabilities. The scholarships are in memory of Catherine T. Murray, a late Warwick teacher and OSCIL volunteer who adamantly believed the power of education assists in overcoming disabilities and furthers opportunities. Catherine established the scholarship fund that was later augmented with funding from her brother, Terrence Murray.
