OSDRI seeking sponsorships for 27th annual Stand Down Weekend

Posted

Operation Stand Down Rhode Island (OSDRI) is requesting consideration in sponsoring its 27th annual Stand Down Weekend.

Each year, more than 200 volunteers and over 50 nonprofit, state and federal agencies come together at the military-style encampment at Diamond Hill State Park in Cumberland to provide over 500 local veterans life-saving and changing services. The tent sponsorship fee of $250 offsets the cost of this outreach service weekend.

Your sponsorship will place your organization's name and logo on a service provider tent and event banner, which will be displayed Sept. 20-22 at Diamond Hill State Park. Veterans, volunteers and community leaders will see commitment to helping our local veterans receive the medical, dental, mental health care, legal, employment and basic human needs assistance they have earned.

Once the weekend is over, OSDRI will continue the work serving over 2,500 local in-need veterans annually. Please contact Jessica Miller at 383-4730 or JMiller@osdri.org for more information.
