Village Menorah lighting is Dec. 28

The date and location of the lighting of the Village Menorah in Pawtuxet was incorrectly reported in last Thursday’s Beacon. The Village Menorah will be lit at the Gazebo in Pawtuxet Park on Saturday, December 28 at 7 p.m. This is part of the Friends of Pawtuxet Village holiday celebration, and everyone is encouraged to join Rabbi Yossi Laufer of Chabad of West Bay for some dreidel games, Hanukkah songs and hot latkes after the Menorah is lit. This event will be held whether it rains or snows, so make sure to dress appropriately.
