The Providence College 2018 Rodney K. Delasanta Lecture will feature author Maureen Corrigan. She is the book critic for NPR's "Fresh Air" and the author of So We Read On: How the Great Gatsby Came to Be and Why It Endures. This event will take place in the Fiondella Great Room in the Ruane Center for the Humanities on the PC campus on Thursday, April 12 at 4:30 p.m.
Corrigan is the Nicky and Jamie Grant Distinguished Professor of the Practice in Literary Criticism at Georgetown University, and a columnist for The Washington Post. She has served as a juror for the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction. She will be discussing her book about the "Great Gatsby," and why its story continues to stand the test of time long after it was first published.
