Phyllis (Marcotrigiano) Schiavelli, 86, of Warwick, passed away February 16, 2012 at home. She was the wife of the late Domenic P. Schiavelli.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alfonso and Carmella (Zaccardo) Marcotrigiano. Mrs. Schiavulli was a salesperson for Wilson’s Leather in Providence and Snyder Leather in Warwick for 35 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Cranston. She was a member of United Commercial Travelers and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and visiting Foxwoods.

She was the beloved mother of David M. Schiavulli (P.P.D., Ret) and his wife, Tracy, of Coventry and Donnamarie Loven and her husband, Jeffrey, of Warwick; caring sister of Rose Salvato and Jennie George, both of North Providence, Anna Corso of Cranston, Mildred DiSanto of Warwick and the late Gaitano Marcotrigiano, Dorothy Del Toro, Mary Sheldon and Ruby Ferri; loving grandmother of four and great-grandmother of four.

Her funeral was held Feb. 18 from Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial followed in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
