Lola Motta from World Dance and Music Center, entertained the children with dance and education about the use of hand motions in dance storytelling.
She interpreted the definitions of rain, wind, the sun, picking a flower, little shack, ocean waves and fish using her hands.
Using traditional Polynesian props with her dancing, she explained how she used the 'Uli'uli, which are feather and gourd shakers used to accentuate noise.
The children also found out that the Humuhumunukunukuapua is the official fish of Hawaii.
