Rebecca Pepper, 82, of Cushing Road, died peacefully March 30, 2012 in Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Arnold Pepper for 63 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Harry and Dora (Fineman) Brosofsky and stepdaughter of the late Bessie (Spigel) Brosofsky, she had lived in Warwick for 55 years. Rebecca was a graduate of Hope High School, class of 1947. She was an office manager for Max Fish Plumbing Co. for 10 years, a secretary for ITT Hamel-Dahl for 10 years and worked with her husband in his distribution business, R and A Vending in Warwick, for 30 years, retiring in 2010. Rebecca was a member of Temple Sinai and B’nai B’rith.
She was the devoted mother of Paul Pepper of Los Angeles, Calif. and the late Steven Pepper; dear sister of Janice Gadon of Cranston, Alan Brosofsky of East Greenwich and the late Joseph Brosofsky; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held April 2 in Shalom Memorial Chapel, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston.
