The second half was fairly even of a game, with the Mariners winning 34-32 and winning the game 74-51. It was a great three-man attack of Ameir Gomes (Providence) 24 points, eight assists, Denzel Correia (Warwick) 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and Parker Mason (Portsmouth) with a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Senior Kobe Polley (Newport) had two points in the game but was all over the place with rebounds, steals, hustle and effort was on full display by the senior captain that did not go unnoticed.

Mariners are back in action Friday evening against the Saints of St. Andrews as the Mariners look to make it four straight.
