Robert A. Eddy, age 54, of Posnegansett Avenue, Warwick, died on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Christine E. “Tina” (Briggs) Eddy.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Francis A. “Frank” Eddy and Columbia M. (Monti) Eddy, he was a life-long Warwick resident. Mr. Eddy was a product engineer at Pentair in Warwick for the last 20 years. He was a member of the Warwick Firefighters Association.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers: John Eddy, Michael Eddy and Tom Eddy, all of Warwick; his mother-in-law, Diann L. (Lawton) Cipollone of North Kingstown; his father-in-law, Charles A. Briggs of Coventry; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was the step-son-in-law of the late Richard J. Cipollone.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 21, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
