Robert E. Bush


Robert E. Bush, 91 of Easton Avenue died peacefully June 15, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine E. (Gray) Bush to whom he was married for sixty four years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Walter J. and Rose (Murphy) Bush, he had been a Warwick resident since 1958. Mr. Bush was a ship agent at Goff & Page for 42 years before retiring in 1985. He was a World War II Army veteran and proud graduate of LaSalle Academy. He was a long time faithful communicant of St. Peter Church.

He was the devoted father of Robert J. Bush and his wife, Inez of North Scituate, William F. Bush of East Greenwich, Lawrence E. Bush of North Kingstown and Thomas D. Bush of Scituate; Margaret Bargamian and her husband, Robert of North Scituate, Patricia Bell and her husband, Joseph of Warwick and Lorraine A. Lippitt and her husband, William of Amherst, New Hampshire. Cherished grandfather of fifteen and adored great-grandfather of three. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Jack, Leo, Raymond and Anna Bush.

His funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Peter Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick at 10 a.m. Calling hours Monday 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Peter Church or the J. Arthur Trudeau Center 3445 Post Rd.. Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated. Burial with military honors will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Condolences please visit
