Robert H. Morin


Robert H. Morin, 70, of East Greenwich, died unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family on February 1, 2013 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Marcure) Morin.

Born in Providence, he was a beloved son of Grace C. (Huling) Morin of East Greenwich and the late Donald O. Morin. Mr. Morin was a mechanic for Bostitch Co. retiring in 2006 after 40 years of service. He also worked as a volunteer on the East Greenwich Fire Department Rescue and as a school bus driver. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Warwick. He enjoyed time with his family and was an avid audio-visual enthusiast. Robert was a loving, kind, caring gentleman.

He was the loving father of Robert C. Hathaway and his wife, Christine of Warwick and Charlotte L. Phillips and her husband, William of Glocester. Cherished grandfather of Victoria, Julia, Kate and Sara Hathaway and Kevin and Leeann Phillips. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.
