Robert K. Mooney, 61, a printing press operator and shop manager for 30 years, passed away peacefully Monday, April 8, 2019 after a long battle with COPD.
He was the beloved son of Rita B. (Pavelski) and the late Lawrence F. Mooney (Lt. RISP Ret.). He was a graduate of Toll Gate High School and CCRI, and enjoyed photography. He was an avid Boston Bruins and New England Patriots fan. His happiest times were on his boat with his brother fishing and quahogging on Narragansett Bay.
He was the brother of Patricia Channell and her husband, James, and the late Paul T. Mooney; uncle of Eliza and Colin Channell (PFC US Army), and Casey Mooney. He is also survived by his best buddy, Coco.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave.
