Robert L. Sisti


Robert L. Sisti, 68 of 76C Valley Green Ct., North Providence, died May 11th at the VA Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Judith A. (Ricci) Sisti, and they were married for 47 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Maryann (Petrangelo) Sisti and the late Benedetto Sisti. Bob served in the Vietnam War as Sergeant in the 107th Signal Company Army National Guard. He was a member of the Kelley Gazzero VFW Post and the DAV Chapter 21. He worked for Warner Lambert, American Chicle Division, as a Regional Sales Director for 27 years until his retirement. He continued to work after starting PIM, a sales merchandising company servicing the New England area. Bob later served on the Executive Board as President at the Louisquisset Country Club where he lived and enjoyed golfing for the past 22 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children; Robert L. Sisti Jr., Robyn Sisti Devine and husband, Jim, Ronda (Sisti) Marino and husband, Jason; as well as two grandchildren Louis and Michael. He was the brother of Carol DeFelice.

The funeral was held on May 18th at Tucker-Quinn Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas Church in Providence. Burial with full military honors followed at Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery in Exeter.
