Robert P. Lynch, 75, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at his home in Warwick.

Born in Providence, Robert was the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Lynch. He was employed as a shop steward at Providence Beverage Co., for 23 years. Robert was very proud to be a Vietnam veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1960-1966. He was a long-time member of the William Shields American Legion Post #43, in Warwick. After retiring, Robert split his time between his home in Hudson, Florida, and Warwick. He was an avid camper and fisherman. Robert loved to hunt down ‘treasures’ at outdoor markets in Florida, as well as in New England.

He was the husband of the late Sandra Lynch. He was the father of Robert P. Lynch of East Greenwich, Denise Lynch of Warwick, Raymond Lynch and his wife Donna of Danielson, Connecticut, and Michael Lynch and his companion MaryAnn Wheeler of Warwick. Additionally, he had six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was the brother of the late Jacqulyn Kemplin.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 10-11 a.m., with a service to follow at 11 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Information and condolences at TheQuinnFuneralHome.com
